• Something about this image that really touches me. I think it's the mood of an early morning fishing expedition, up before dawn and hoping for a great catch! When you wake at the hour with a desire for something great to happen...a grand catch fishing, shooting the spectacular sunrise, starting a long day of traveling to see loved ones...there's a wonderful excitement and energy that can’t be matched at any other time of day. That’s the feeling this image brings me.

• I like this, I used to have a Penn Surfmaster beach casting reel, they take a bit of time to get the hang of, but far outcast fixed spool reels, can't understand why fixed spools are so popular.
